Gidget Earle,
a California native, accomplished seamstress and artist since childhood,
graduated from the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising in 1985
with honors.
After surviving
years as a designer in the garment industry of Los Angeles, she opened
a leather business known as “Hognoggin”, featuring custom leather helmet
covers, apparel and accessories.
Her career
as a plush designer began with Applause (the beloved gift and collectible
company) in 1998. She was responsible for building three dimensional soft
sculpture prototypes through her extensive knowledge of pattern making
and sewing. After leaving Applause, she was hired by MGA Entertainment
to work on the “Bratz” fashion doll line.
Gidget is currently self employed as a costumer
for Sideshow Collectibles. Her other clients include E-mak (formerly Equity
Marketing), Morbid Industries and Disney Consumer Products.
